counting carbs, sugar gram per serving, serving sizes, does it have fiber? can i get away with net carbs, A1c levels fasting glucose reads
Most people don’t understand the meaning of these numbers and how they critically affect the one who deals with these blood sugar swings. when spikes happen there is increase for future complications.
this is why diabetes management is so important. the higher the sugar is in the blood-the body cannot do its job. as sugars rise the blood thickens, gets rich in consistency- almost syrup like and it then begins to damage your vital organs (i.e heart & eyes) and restrict circulation promoting apoptosis (death of cells) & amputation ”Discipline Yourself!”

While I’m not obese and I don’t sit around eating candy all day, I still deal with the physical consequences of major blood sugar spikes of both high & low numbers. I maintain a strict diet in a effort to regulate these swings and try to feel normal (being proactive vs reactive). It is a full time job to attempt to feel normal so I can accomplish school my job and these gainssssssss.
Keeping on track is essential. It’s so easy to lose focus and stray away from your goal. One minor decision can backtrack you months UGHHHHHH. Everything you do in this this world of DIABETIC nutrition holdS heavy consequences.

I wish that those who don’t understand the affects of this awful disease could feel the dizzy, disoriented feeling for ONE DAY that a diabetic person experiences in order to understand what it’s like.
To avoid these confusions i follow a simple “Read Before You Feed!” mantra.
If i can’t read it i don’t eat it🤷🏽♂️

simple as that i cant afford any surprise attacks on my body lol my poor little pancreas can’t take it. these sugars are masked in products, hidden with these scientific terms; likw what the hell is sugar alcohols lol. educate yourself and make smart decisions.
